God Bless America

Hello from Monterey, California, everyone...

Well, what is there to say? The bill that was predicted to fundamentally alter, possibly bankrupt the United States has passed. The Democrats may have won this battle; they most definitely have not won this tacit war between right and wrong. In my opinion, this only means the REAL Americans, the TRUE Americans are going to have to fight even harder to preserve the Republic and take back our country.

The West Coast is beautiful, on a lighter note... I've seen the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, the cliffs edging the Pacific Ocean, Monterey Bay...in the back of my mind was the thought that America, even with all of her internal conflicts and imperfections, is a beautiul place. It's a beautiful, liberating idea of personal freedom, self determination that we often take for granted. It is sickening to me that such self-absorbed, power hungry, socialist leaning politicians that believe they "know better" than the American people themselves want to virtually change the land of the free and home of the brave to fit their agenda, and to become the proprietors of freedom, the givers of rights.

I will post some more commentary on the passage of this bill within the next few days, but I want to leave you with a quote that has really influenced me, and one that I believe we must consider if we are to "bring back" our country.

"Only those afraid of the truth seek to silence debate, intimidate those with whom they disagree, or slander their ideological counterparts. Those who know they are right have no reason to stifle debate because they realize that all opposing arguments will ultimately be overcome by fact." -Glenn Beck

Good night, and God Bless America. :)
